Brand identity and brand guide

Set the brand's colours, fonts, logos and design direction, and share a living brand guide.

Everything Verbolica designs, from social images to website pages and lead magnets, is drawn from the brand's identity. Set it up in Brand Settings → Brand Identity.

Read it from the website

The quickest start is Read your site. Verbolica reads the brand's website and fills in its colours and fonts, noting which fields it set. Review the result and change anything that's wrong.

What you can set

SectionWhat it holds
LogosThe brand mark in its colourways, for light and dark backgrounds.
ColoursEach colour with its role, such as primary, accent, background or text. A colour can be limited to Gradients only, Small details only or Never a background.
GradientsA signature gradient, plus any other approved gradients. Designs use no other gradients.
FontsTypefaces for headings and body text.
PatternsBrand textures and patterns, used in images and designs.
Image styleDirections for photography and illustration, used for every AI image.
Client logosLogos of the brand's own customers, which designs may show next to testimonials or case studies.
Design DNAThe brand's design character: energy, temperature, density, corners, signature move, reference brands, admired sites, and things to avoid.

Not sure how to describe the Design DNA? Click AI-draft and Verbolica proposes one from the logo, palette and brand details. Review it before you save.

Update it from the chat

You can also tell the Strategist about changes, for example "our accent is #F79E2A now", or attach a brand guide PDF and ask it to update the brand. It shows you what will change, and applies it only when you confirm.

The brand guide

The brand's identity is shown as a brand guide: a page with its logos, colours, gradients, fonts, buttons, tone of voice and written guidelines.

To share it with a client, designer or freelancer, click Share to create a read-only public link. Turn the link off at any time and it stops working straight away. The public guide leaves out internal details, such as the brand's "avoid" list.

Handover document

In Brand Settings → More brand settings → Handover, generate a document with everything someone would need to take the brand's work elsewhere: strategy, voice, audience and competitive position.
