Lead magnets
Write and design downloadable guides, checklists and ebooks as finished PDFs.
A lead magnet is something valuable a visitor downloads in exchange for their details: a guide, checklist, scorecard or ebook. Verbolica writes it and designs it as a finished PDF in the brand's style.
Find them under Content → Lead Magnets.
Create a lead magnet
Click New lead magnet and choose how to start:
- From your brand knowledge: describe what it should cover, and who for, and click Write it. Verbolica writes it from the brand's own material, so it reflects the business's real expertise.
- Your copy, just designed: paste in content you've already written and click Add it. Use headings to split it into chapters; without headings it comes in as one section.
Read it through and edit it like any other draft before you design it.
Add brand knowledge first
Lead magnets written from brand knowledge are only as good as that knowledge. Add the business's methodology, case studies and research in Brand Settings → More brand settings → Brand knowledge first.
Design it as a PDF
On the lead magnet, click Design it and choose:

| Format | On-screen (landscape) for reading on a screen, or A4 (print) or US Letter (print) for printing. |
| Creativity | Classic (clean and corporate), Balanced (designed editorial) or Expressive (art-directed). |
| Brief | Optional direction, for example "one big photo per chapter". |
Designing takes a few minutes and carries on if you leave the page. When it's done, the PDF is ready to download.
Want a different look? Click Redesign and pick another format or creativity level. The words are kept, so you only pay for the design again.
Lead magnets in Decisions campaigns
Decisions campaigns suggest decision kit ideas: lead magnets that help buyers decide. Click Generate on an idea to write it. For tools like calculators and estimators, Verbolica writes a specification for a developer to build instead.
