Data not showing
Why traffic, search, ranking or engagement numbers might be missing or look wrong.
Search and traffic numbers are empty
- Is Google connected? Check Brand Settings → Connections. The Google card should show Connected with both a Search Console property and a GA4 property saved. See Connect Google.
- Is it the right property? If you have several properties, make sure the saved ones match the brand's website.
- Has it just been connected? Data arrives in the daily update. Give it a day.
The last few days are missing
Google reports Search Console data two to three days late. This is normal, and it fills in over the following days.
Old data is ignored
Verbolica treats search and traffic data older than 90 days as out of date when planning and writing, so decisions reflect what's happening now. Reports still show historical periods.
Engagement numbers are empty
Engagement (reading time, scroll depth, clicks and form submissions) comes from the WordPress plugin, not from Google Analytics. Check that the plugin is installed, active and connected. Numbers build up as people visit.
Rankings look out of date
Rankings update automatically every few days. Click Check Now on the Rankings page for an immediate check (once a day per brand).
Numbers differ from Google's own reports
Small differences are normal. Google Analytics and Search Console count differently from each other, and both adjust recent figures after the fact. Compare the same date range, and allow for the reporting delay.
