Monthly reports
What's in the monthly report and how to share it with clients.
Verbolica builds a report for each brand every month. Reports for the previous month are generated automatically on the 1st, and you can create one for any date range from Performance → Reports.
What's in a report
- Performance summary: traffic, search clicks and impressions, with month-on-month changes.
- Narrative summary: a plain-English account of what happened and why.
- Engagement: how deeply people read, from the WordPress plugin's first-party tracking.
- Rankings: keywords that moved up and down.
- Content performance: how each published piece did in search.
- Work delivered: what was produced, by channel, and progress against plan.
- AI visibility: whether AI assistants mention the brand.
- Value scorecard: the market value of the work delivered, and the outcomes it produced.
- Recommendations: what to do next, including content that's slipping or competing with other pages on the same site.
What clients see
Clients see a version made for them. They see the value of the work delivered as a total, but no internal unit prices, points or rate card.
Share a report
- Link: share a link to the report. It opens without logging in, and you can add a password.
- PDF: download a print-ready PDF.
- Email: the monthly digest emails the report summary and PDF on the 1st.
Currency and value rates
Reports use the workspace's reporting currency. The value scorecard uses the brand's value rates: the market-rate equivalent of each type of work. Set them in Brand Settings → More brand settings → Value rates.
Reports need data
Traffic and search sections need Google connected. Engagement needs the WordPress plugin.
